Hostgator Review For Speed
Hostgator-review-coupon.org, after running with hostgator for a few months and had zero downtime and the forum and blog have been very fast. We’re sure that hostgator is very fast and stable web hosting provider.
I have been hosting with hostgator for around a couple of months now, and have a couple of domains with them. I don’t have much time to type this up as I am fairly busy with work, but I felt I owe them a thankyou for the awesome service I receive from the 2 domains I have hosted with them.
I have a fairly active forum with no less than 60 active members browsing the boards at any time, and they sure are quick to complain if anything goes down. During the time I have been with hostgator I have had ZERO downtime, and my forum has been consistently fast.
I have had no problems during my stay so far, and HG even went to the trouble of installing an SSL cert for free for me as I didn’t have the funds in my PayPal account. Hostgator, I salute you. They truelly know what they are doing, their support is consistent and rapid and their servers maintained incredibly well.
Thankyou for providing me with an honest, efficient and excellent service. I really am glad I chose hostgator and have no problem in fully commending them to anyone I meet.

Hostgator uptime for September 2008: 99.942% over the Internet
Once again, Hostgator service uptime had recorded above 99.9% uptime. After 20 months monitoring Hostgator uptime, its so common to see a service uptime above 99.9% recorded by this Hostgator share hosting plan.
Over the month of October, there were four minor Hostgator downtime detected, each of them ranging from five-minute to 10 minutes of downtime.
With average server respond time recorded that 0.16 second, indicating really fast server from Hostgator hosting.

All hostgator hosting plan are now using PHP5. The older version of PHP4 it’s no longer supported/offered in hostgator shared hosting. if you check the hosted the share hosting specifications, you will find that PHP 5 is the only option!
I double confirm this from Hostgator cPanel, i am currently using PHP version 5.2.6
this means the old hosting server (previously using php4) is now upgraded to PHP5 as well.
This means, you are getting PHP five by default. If you are going to install any custom PHP scripts, do make sure they are supported in php5 environment.
Tips: Alternatively, use .htaccess editing to enable php5
Add in these line into your .htaccess file:
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php

Want to find out what’s Perl modules is being installed in Hostgator hosting server? I tried to search for this information from Hostgator website, but it’s not details enough. I would like to find the least of perl modules installed!
